We are looking for all Youth & Young Adults to take just a moment and give their honest feedback in a survey (separate survey for each group).  The online surveys should only take 3-5 minutes to complete.  Make sure your survey is completed no later than Tuesday, February 12th.  Contact our youth minister, Bro. Xavier Daniels, to receive an email with the link to the survey, if necessary.

 

Simon Temple’s Annual MasterLife Christian Discipleship Program begins March 7, 2019 with both Noon-Day and Evening Sessions. You may sign up in church office or at simontemple.seguregive.com and obtain a copy of this course’s description from shelf in new lobby or church office area.  POC: Dr. L. Feb 11—New Members Class will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm. Part 2 – February 11th; Part 3 – February 18th.  Contact Sis. Rebecca Gentry in the church office at (910) 867-1182 ext. 103 or visit simontemple.securegive.com.

 

Feb 13 & 20—Children’s Choir practice will be held on the next two Wednesdays in the New Sanctuary at 6:00 pm.  POC: Sis. Angela Riddick

 

Feb 14—The Hospitality Ministry needs assistance on Thursday in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm decorating for the Marriage Ministry Valentines Ball.  Please contact Sis. Angela Murry at (910) 273-8543. Thank you in advance.

 

Feb 15—The Marriage Ministry Valentine’s Ball will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $50.00 per couple and can be purchased in the vestibule and bookstore after both services. POCs:  Bro. John & Sis. Sandra Henry.

 

Feb 23—Ladies please join us for Women’s Empowerment as we conduct an in-depth discussion on “Breaking Free.”  We are looking forward to meeting you there!!!  POC:  Rev. Jennifer Blair and Rev. Paula Young

 

Feb 24—February is African-American Heritage Month:  please join the Sunday School Department as we acknowledge and commemorate the opportunity to honor accomplishments of Black Americans.  Mrs. Katherine Marable, retired Cumberland County School Teacher, will be our guest presenter on 4th Sunday at 10:00 during the Sunday School hour.
