If you were baptized between 2011-2019, please come by the church office today and pick up your baptism certificate.


The MasterLife Christian Discipleship Program will begin on March 5, 2020 with the option of attending one of two sessions weekly. Please sign up in the church officewhere you may also obtain a description of the six-month program. POC is Dr. L. Newton


The following ministries need workers:  The Senior, Adult and Junior Usher Boards, Hospitality Ministry, Protectors of the Promise Ministry, Parking Lot Ministry, Puppet Ministry, Children’s Ministry, A/V Ministry, Meals on Wheels, Sign Language, Spanish Interpreter & Security.  Please sign up in the church office.


The House of Refuge Prayer and Spiritual Guidance Center:  Call (855) 979-9804 between the hours of 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, if you find yourself in need of prayer.  Please limit calls to less than 5 minutes so we can assist those inside and outside the church.


The Temple Fitness Class will be held every Saturday morning from 8:00 – 9:00 led by Bro. Jonathan Foster.  Get your ‘temple’ in shape at “The Temple!”

Feb 2—Beginning today New Members Classes will be held on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays in the New Fellowship Hall at 1:30 pm.  Classes will no longer be held on Mondays.  All new members who have not taken your new members classes, please prepare to do so soon.  Part 1 – February 2nd, Part 2 – February 16th,

Feb 7—The 13th Annual Bread ‘n Bowls Bake Sale & Silent Auction will be held at Haymount UMC Family Life Center at 1700 Fort Bragg Road in Fayetteville.  This event is in support of the Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch.  Advance tickets can be purchased at:  Operation Inasmuch • 531 Hillsboro St &


Feb 8—The Fayetteville District Youth Mass Meeting will be held at Locks Creek AME Zion Church, located at 4070 Lock’s Creek Church Road • Fayetteville, NC.  The meeting will begin at 9:00 am.


Feb 8—The 4th Annual HBCU College Fair will be held from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Smith Recreation Center • 1520 Slater Avenue in Fayetteville.  The fair will allow high school and middle school students to learn about scholarship opportunities, attend college-planning seminars and connect with admission representatives. This event is in partnership with the Fayetteville • Cumberland Parks & Recreation Department and sponsored by the Beta Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Pick up a flyer in the lobby or stop by the church office.


Feb 13—A Senior Valentines Social will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 12:00 noon.  Food, games and fellowship will be provided for persons 65 and over.  Sign up in the church office by February 9th.


Feb 13-15—Registration for the Valentines Getaway final date for payment is February 5th. The Marriage Ministry will meet on February 6th at 5:30 pm to discuss all matters concerning the Valentines Getaway. For assistance with making hotel reservations, call Ashley Loffredo directly at (757) 275-7870.


Feb 15—Asking all missionaries to please be in attendance at our Missionary Meeting at 11:30am.  Please contact Sis. Affie Sawyer, Missionary president, if you have any questions or concerns.


Feb 15—The Singles Ministry presents the “Living Single and Saved“ Valentines Social in the New Fellowship Hall, 5:00-9:00 pm. The cost is $15.00 per person.  Purchase your tickets in the lobby and the bookstore after both services.


Aug 28-30—The WOE Women’s Retreat will be held August 28th – 30th at the Lifeway Ridgecrest Conference Center in Ridgeway, NC. This year’s “Theme:  Hidden Figures.  Registration will begin on Friday, February 7th and will be $100.00 without transportation and $150.00 with transportation.  POC:  Sis.
