The Free to Be Me Empowerment Symposium 2019 tickets are available for purchase in the vestibule and bookstore after both services.  Advertising and vendor opportunities for businesses are still available.  Advertise your business or congratulate First Lady in the Free To Be Me Commemorative booklet.

 

The Simon Temple Phone Prayer Ministry needs Volunteer Prayer Counselors who will receive toll-free incoming calls to the Prayer room and pray with callers. More details to follow. If interested, please call church office (910) 867-1182 EXT. 5 to Volunteer or come sign-up in Church Office.

 

The Simon Temple Café is in need of assistance on Sundays with operating the cash register.  Please see Sis. Mary King in the church office.

 

High School & College Graduates today is the last day to sign up for Graduate Sunday in the Church Office. Graduate Sunday will be held 4th Sunday, June 23rd at 11:00. Members must sign-up in order to participate. POC: Dr. V. Alford

 

Scholarships available:  The Men of Zion Scholarship packets are also available in the church office and online at:  simontemple.com  June 15th is the deadline to return this scholarship application.  POC:  Bro. Gene Freeman

 

All persons interested in participating in the Temple Fitness Class please sign up in the church office.

Jun 10-14—Fayetteville District Acolyte training will be held Monday, June 10th through Wednesday, June 12th from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Simon Temple. Acolyte graduation rehearsal will be on the 13th and graduation on the 14th both at Hood Memorial.  POC: Rev. Adriane Newton.

 

Jun 10—The Ambassadors Ministry will be meeting on at 6:30 p.m.  The meeting will be held in the cafe. If you would like to join this ministry please attend the meeting.   POC is Rev. Paula Young.

 

Jun 13-14—The Fayetteville District Christian Education Convention will be heldat Hood Memorial on Thursday at 6:00 pm and will begin on Friday at 9:00 am.

 

Jun 15—On Saturday of Father’s Day weekend, we will have the “Faith of a Father” Breakfast at 9:00 am. All men are invited. We will honor our active duty fathers with gift packages. Tickets are on sale now for $5.00.

 

Jun 21—Join the Eastern North Carolina Episcopal District as we honor our Missionary Supervisor, Mrs. Sheila Wells Monroe at the Greenville Convention Center in Greenville, NC.  This Quadrennial Luncheon will take place on Friday, June 21st at 1:00 pm.

 

June 28—Attention All Youth, Attention all Youth ages 13 – 21. Wow, FRIDAY our firstPUSH SERVICE! You don’t want to miss this. New Fellowship Hall! 7:30 pm Sharp! Invite your friends, classmates, teammates, slide in the DM’s it’s going to be crazy! Leave your church clothes at home and everything you think you know about it. This will be an experience like no other.  See you there!

 

July 8-11—Experience Youth Conference will be held at Simon Temple during the  second week of July.  Camp for children 5-12 years of age will be $35 and for those 13-21 years of age will be $65 in advance and there is a discount for families with multiple children.  Advance registration will end on June 28th.  POC: Bro. Aug 10—The Rev. Brian R. Thompson, Sr. Annual Charity Golf Classic will be held at Carolina Lakes Golf Course, 53 Carolina Lakes Road, Sanford, NC.  Registration will begin at 7:30 am with a shotgun start at 8:30 am.  Individual and corporate sponsors welcome.  POC: Bro.
