The Free to Be Me Empowerment Symposium 2019 tickets are available for purchase in the vestibule and bookstore after both services.  Advertising and vendor opportunities for businesses are still available.  Advertise your business or congratulate First Lady in the Free To Be Me Commemorative booklet.


All persons interested in participating in the Temple Fitness Class please sign up in the church office.


Manuel/Stroud Scholarship Applications are available online and in the church office. Completed applications are due back in the church office no later than 6:30 pm on June 1st. Interviews will be held June 5th. Each applicant will be provided a time for his/her interview. POC:  Dr. V. Alford

If you are interested in participating in the Simon Temple alcohol/narcotics anonymous class, please sign up in the church office.


May 13—New Members Class will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm;  Part 2 – May 13th, Part 3 – May 20th.


May 15—Children’s Choir practice will be held on Wednesday 5/15 and Wednesday 5/22 in the New Sanctuary at 6:00 pm.


May 18—There will be a Senior Saints ages 65 & up Mother’s Day Outing going to the Tangier Outlet Mall in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Sign up in the church office by 12 Noon on Thursday to reserve your space on the bus. POC:  Sis. Lisa Smith


May 18—The Marriage Ministry will have a Fun Walk, Run & Bicycle Family Outing at Clark Park at 7:30 am followed by breakfast at Cracker Barrel on Skibo Road.


May 18—The Fayetteville District Men of Zion Men’s Conference will be held at New Bethel AME Zion Church 6967 Amarillo Drive, Fayetteville, NC at 9:00 am.  All men are invited to attend the conference.


May 18—The Missionary Department will meet at 11:00 am.


May 19—Rev. Felica Thompson will be preaching at Mt. Hebrew AMEZ Church at 6830 Ramsey St. Fay, NC 28311 at 3pm for their “100 Women in Red” program.
