SecureGive Update: Simon Temple’s online contribution platform has been updated.  All persons that have given online will receive an email from SecureGive with the update details and a link to the new giving URL so you can confirm your account information.  Please follow the detailed instructions to complete this important update.

 

Manuel/Stroud Scholarship Applications are available online and in the church office. Completed applications are due back in the church office no later than 6:30 pm on June 1st. Interviews will be held June 5th. Each applicant will be provided a time for his/her interview. POC:  Dr. V. Alford

 

**All members who are High School & College Graduates please sign-up from now until June 2nd in the Church Office. Graduate Sunday will be held June 23rd at 11:00. You must sign-up in order to participate. POC: Dr. V. Alford

 

May 5—VBS Registration: Online Registration will begin May 5th – June 19th for Vacation Bible School “Babylon Daniel’s Courage in Captivity” which will take place from June 24th-26th. POC:  Dr. V. Alford

 

May 5—District Mass Choir concert will be held at Simon Temple at 4:00 pm.

 

May 6—New Members Class will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.

Part 1 – May 6th; Part 2 – May 13th; Part 3 – May 20th.

 

May 11—District Famers Market at Hood Memorial from 10:00—2:00pm. Please support and participate. Vendors are needed.  This is a market, not a yard sale.  If you bake, make items with your hands, or grow veggies, come and sell your items.  For further information, contact Vincent Evans:  (910) 237-3689.

 

May 14—Baptism will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:00 PM. All candidates are to meet in the Old Fellowship Hall at 5:30 PM. Bring towels and a change of clothing. Please ensure that you have filled out the church baptism form in the church office.

 

**May 14—Men’s Empowerment will be held in Kingdom Plaza at 6:30 pm. All men are encouraged to attend this awesome fellowship experience!

 

May18—The Marriage Ministry will have a Fun Walk, Run & Bicycle Family Outing at Clark Park at 7:30 am followed by breakfast at Cracker Barrel on Skibo Road.

 

May 18—The Fayetteville District Men of Zion Men’s Conference will be held at New Bethel AME Zion Church 6967 Amarillo Drive, Fayetteville, NC at 9:00 am.  All men are invited to attend the conference.

 

May 18—The Women’s Empowerment session will discuss Breaking Free on Saturday, May 18, 2019 in the New Fellowship Hall at 10:00 am.  Have you broken free from a stronghold lately? Please come out enjoy this wonderful, well-planned session. POC: Rev Jennifer Blair and Paula Young

 

May 18—The Missionary Department will meet at 11:00 am.

 

May 19—Rev. Felica Thompson will be preaching at Mt. Hebrew AMEZ Church at 6830 Ramsey St. Fay, NC 28311 at 3pm for their “100 Women in Red” program.

 

June 28—Attention All Youth, Attention all Youth ages 13 -21. Wow, FRIDAY our firstPUSH SERVICE! You don’t want to miss this. New Fellowship Hall! 7:30 pm Sharp! Invite your friends, classmates, teammates, slide in the DM’s it’s going to be crazy! Leave your church clothes at home and everything you think you know about it. This will be an experience like no other.  See you there!
