Deadline: Monday, May 7, 2018 These scholarship opportunities are supported by our annual MLK Breakfast.

May 12—The WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE MINISTRY presents the “Lace and Pearls” Mothers & Girls Brunch on Saturday, May 12th at 10 am, hosted by First Lady, Rev. Felica R. Thompson and First Daughter Sis. Alexis A. Thompson. Come and receive “Pearls of Wisdom” from longtime member, Sis. Sarah Wilson. Tickets will be available in the church office or in the bookstore for $10 until Wednesday, May 10th. No tickets will be sold at the door.
May 17—The Marriage Ministry meeting will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm. Our guest speakers will be none other than our own Pastor Rev. Brian R. Thompson, Sr. and First Lady Rev. Felica R. Thompson. Please don’t miss this fantastic fellowship. All married couples are invited to attend.
May 19—The Fayetteville District Men of Zion Men’s Conference will be at New Bethel AME Zion Church 6967 Amarillo Drive, Fayetteville, NC at 9 am followed by a bake-off from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm. All men are invited to attend the conference and all women are invited to participate in the bake-off. Join us for this awesome event.
May 19—First Lady Thompson will be preaching at the 7th Annual Women of Excellence Conference at Greater Chrysolite AME Zion Church, 1307 Meadow Road, Lumberton, NC on Saturday, May 19th at 9:00 am. Registration for this event is $25 and all ladies are asked to wear red & white. You can sign up and pay registration in the church office or at simontemple.securegive.com, if you plan to attend. The deadline to register is May 1st. Transportation to this event will be provided by Simon Temple.
May 20—The YACM (Young Adult Christian Ministries) coordinator would like to meet with all persons ages 18-40 in the Balcony immediately following both services.
