In commemoration of the 146th anniversary of our church, we are asking all adult members to sow a seed of $146.

The Temple Fitness Class will be held every Saturday morning from 8:00 – 9:00 led by Bro. Jonathan Foster.  Get your ‘temple’ in shape at “The Temple!”


Attention All Women:  There will be a Women’s Choir for Women’s Day open to all women.  Practices will take place on Tuesday, September 10th; Tuesday, September 17th; and Thursday, September 19th.  Women’s Day will be observed on September 22nd at both the 8:30 am and 11:00 am services.


Get-Out-To-Vote Information and Voter Registration available in the lobby during September. Also, Early Voting schedules are available for those members residing in US Congressional District 9.  Special Election Day is Tuesday, September 10. The Lay Council will be available in lobby after each Sunday service to assist you.


Sep 9 & 16—New Members Class will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.  Part 2 – September 9th; Part 3 – September 16th


Sep 10—Baptism will be held in the New Fellowship Hall at 6:00 pm.  All candidates are to meet in Conference Room B at 5:30 pm.  Bring towels and a change of clothing. Please fill out the baptismal form in the church office.


Sep 10—The Cancer Support Group will meet in the classroom in the New Sanctuary at 6:30 pm. POC: Bro. Darryl Patrick – (910) 978-5691


Sep 10—Men’s Empowerment will be held in the rear section of the Empowerment Center in Kingdom Plaza at 6:30pm.  Issues and concerns pertaining to the spiritual and personal growth of men will be discussed.  See you there!  POC: Rev. Mark Eubanks – (910) 261-1878


Sep 11 & 18—Children’s Choir will have practice at 6:00pm in the main sanctuary.


Sep 12-14—The 150th Celebration of the Fayetteville District will be held at Willis Creek on Thursday & Friday night at 7:00 pm.  On Saturday morning at 9:00 am, the 151st Session of the Fayetteville District Conference will also be held at Willis Creek.


Sep 15—First Lady Thompson will deliver the message for Women’s Day at the 8:30 morning worship service at Lewis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church located at 5422 Raeford Road in Fayetteville and she will also deliver the message for Women’s Day at the 11:00 morning worship service located at 468 Hobson Road in Raeford, NC.


Sep 15—MasterLife Graduation will be held during the 11:00 Sunday service.


Sep 18—The Leader of Leaders meeting will be held in the Old Fellowship Hall at 5:45 pm.  All class leaders are expected to be in attendance.  Please contact Bro. Ronnie Vandyke at (910) 578-9711 if you will be unable to attend.


Sep 22—Women’s Day at Simon Temple will be on 4th Sunday.  First Lady, Rev. Felica Thompson, will deliver the message at the 8:30 service.  Rev. Dr. Evalina Huggins, the Presiding Elder of the Baltimore District, will deliver the message for the 11:00 service. The theme is: “Stepping into the Greatest Season of Our Lives.”  All women are asked to wear shades of green and pearls.


Sep 28—September is Adopt-a-Street Clean-up Month.  Yadkin Road is the street adopted by the Women of Excellence.  We are asking for volunteers to help clean our street.  We will be meeting at 7:30 am in the church parking lot. Sep 28—Women’s Empowerment will be “Breaking Free” with a Dutch dinner meeting at Fuller’s Old Fashioned BBQ located at 7735 Raeford Road at 5:30 pm.  Please plan to attend by signing up in the church office by September 21st.  POCs: Rev. Paula Young & Rev. Jennifer Blair


Sep 29—Fayetteville District Male Chorus Singing Union will be held at Simon Temple at 4:00 pm.  Each Male Chorus on the District is asked to participate.
